I trained at Birkbeck University and completed my training at Highgate Counselling Centre where I have been practising for over 4 years. I am a member of the BACP and abide by their ethical framework/guidelines. Before I began my counselling training I was a mentor for 3 years.

As a Psychodynamic counsellor I will work with whatever the client brings into the room. Every client will need something different from their therapy, for example some clients may need a more supportive approach in their sessions. If a clients needs more support I allow for that whilst staying within the Psychodynamic frame work.

I believe it is the relationship between the client and therapist that is of most importance in the therapy. How the client relates to the work will eventually be explored during the sessions and acts as another way into helping the client to understand themselves
